Understanding Layout Indicators

Each page shows its layout type with an icon:

| Icon | Layout | New Salon Equivalent | |------|--------|---------------------| | ⊞ | DND | Canvas | | β–€ | Fixed Width | Column Grid | | β–₯ | Fixed Height | Fixed Height | | ⧈ | Masonry | Variable Size | | ⊞ | Square | Square Grid | | β–Ά | Slideshow | Slideshow | | ≑ | Justified | Justified |

Page Import Considerations

Large Pages

Pages with many assets (50+) may take longer to import. The system handles them fine, but expect:

  • Extended import time
  • More images to transfer
  • Larger data processing

Complex Layouts

Some layouts may need adjustment after import:

  • Canvas (DND) - Positions transfer well
  • Grid layouts - May need minor tweaks
  • Custom CSS - Review for compatibility

Custom HTML/Embeds

If your pages include:

  • Custom HTML blocks
  • Third-party embeds
  • iframes

These will transfer, but verify they work after import.

Selection Summary

Before proceeding, review your selection:

Summary Panel

Shows at the bottom of the screen:

  • Pages selected - Count of selected pages
  • Total images - Images to be transferred
  • Estimated time - Approximate import duration

Proceed to Import

When ready:

  1. Verify selection count is correct
  2. Click Continue to Import
  3. The import process begins

Tips for Selection

  1. Start small - Test with a few pages first
  2. Check previews - Verify content before importing
  3. Note complex pages - They may need post-import attention
  4. Skip duplicates - Don't import the same content twice
  5. Consider order - Import homepage first to test

Changing Selection Later

You can always:

  • Run migration again for additional pages
  • Pages already imported won't duplicate
  • New pages add to your existing content
